I've had this thing sitting half-finished on my shelf for a week or two, so I figured it was about time to finish it. This is the largest mecha I've ever built, as it's nearly minifig scale. (already it's over a foot tall) Unfortunately, with all that plastic comes weight problems. The Gundam can stand fine on its own (although poses are limited) but with the Aile Striker attached it's just too heavy, hence the rather expansive stand. Also, the arms struggle to hold the shield, and to a lesser extent, the rifle. But all the technical problems aside, I'm quite proud of it. The Aile Striker definitely adds to the model, and I'm glad I decided to add it. The cockpit fits a minifig, and of course there are hidden knives in the side armor skirts.

Next time: Something that's not Gundam and may or may not be a Mk III of an existing VCS- I mean mech. ;)
